On Saturday I was gone for about 3 hours and Anna was NOT happy. I finished my walk and talk work for politics, and needed to go turn in my notes, the extra campaign support material and such. I also had decided that I would try to get a walk in hair cut. I figured Saturday may prove problamatic, since I was guessing it is the busy day for them.
However the corner family barber shop – ONLY does walk-ins on Saturday and had time! It took awhile to cut my hair and I had over 6 inches taken off the back, so I wondered what Anna would think.
See I have not had hair above the shoulders in at least 12 years, so she has never seen it anything but long. Amazingly she managed to just be the self absorbed princess that she is — she wanted her mom, and could care less of hair length. In fact even now a full 2 days later, she has not noticed; or if she has she has not cared in the least!
