Last night Anna did not want to settle down to play, she was instead in the bounce off the walls mood, and torture mommy mood.

I had her chair and a bucket of toys and two books into my bed – to try and find anything to calm her down.  Finally I just pulled her chair to me, and started to drum on it L R LLL R L RRR L R LLL etc — she LOVES drumming and it always calms her down.  

In seconds she was in my lap just watching and calm and happy!

 

YAY for drumming!
